Intel Xe Super Sampling is an AI-based image upscaling technology for real-time rendering. It reconstructs higher-resolution images from lower-resolution inputs using deep learning, helping games achieve higher frame rates while maintaining high visual quality. XeSS includes implementations optimized for Intel graphics as well as cross-vendor GPU support through its developer SDK and API.
